Scouting For Food
Scouting for Food 2023
Each year, scouts from Cub Pack 51 walk through our assigned area of Phillipsburg to ask for donations for our local food banks. We will be placing door hangers outside homes on Saturday, November 4, 2023 to request donations that will be collected Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Donations can include any non-perishable or unexpired goods such as canned soup, meats, and vegetables, or boxed dry stuffing mix, potatoes, and more!
All donations will be given to a local food bank to distribute to residents in need in the Phillipsburg and surrounding area.
If you don't see us in your part of town, but would like to make a donation, please email us and we will be happy to accomodate you.
"Scouting for Food is an ongoing annual program of the Boy Scouts of America, begun in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. The program involves collecting for local food banks. It is organized at the local level throughout the country.
Scouting for Food is a project rooted in the very foundation of the Scouting movement and its dedication to implement the Scout Slogan and do a good turn daily."
